Morning Session — AB 1825 Harassment Prevention & Bystander Compliance Training (AM Session)

Cost: $125/attendee (or $100/attendee for groups of 10 or more from the same organization)

The morning session is taught by an attorney-trainer, and consists of the AB 1825 legally-compliant Harassment Prevention Training that is suitable for all employees of your organization, including managers, supervisors, and non-supervisory personnel. In addition, this training includes an additional component on Bystander Training, as authorized by SB 1300. All attendees will receive proof of completion.

“Train-the-Trainer” Training for HR Professionals (PM Session)

Cost: $795/Member or $995/Non-Member (includes AM California-Compliant Harassment Prevention Training)

The afternoon session (1 PM — 4 PM) is designed specifically for human resources professionals who meet the requirements under 2 CCR § 11024(a)(9) (see above for trainer eligibility requirements) to become a trainer to provide Harassment Prevention Training for their organization. The Train-the-Trainer session includes additional information on how to design and deliver an effective training curriculum to meet the requirements under Govt’ Code § 12950.1 and 2 CCR § 11024, tips for trainers, in-depth content review, teaching practice exercise (in group assignment), and instructors’ feedback of teaching exercise.

In addition, all attendees will receive an “instructor’s toolkit", including: PowerPoint training set, sample EEO policy, workplace harassment prevention guide, pamphlet, and certificate of completion.

HRCI, SHRM, and MCLE Recertification Credits Available

    Registration and Payment Policy

    The registration fee covers all course materials and instructions. Breakfast or lunch are not covered in the registration fee. Overnight lodging, transportation/parking or certification fee are not included. Limited spaces available; please register one week prior to the start of the class to ensure availability. Advanced registration and payment required.

Attendees who do not register by the registration deadline of March 3, 2020 must register for the non-member pricing on a space-available basis, regardless of membership status with CalGovHR.

    CalGovHR does not provide refunds for training/event cancellations, but registrations are transferable to another attendee for the same program provided the substitute attendee has the same membership status. All requests for transfer of registration fees must be made in writing at least three business days prior to the start of the program. If you cancel your registration without providing a substitute by the deadline as described above, you will forfeit your registration fees. No-shows are non-refundable.
